Its amazing how addicted we all are getting to the internet and things that happen online, especially on social media. When you are looking for information on a topic, you heard over to google. when you want to checkout your friends you login to facebook e.t.c
what this means is that the internet is gradually becoming a part of our lives. Pulse NG conducted a very interesting study on how Nigerians spend their time on the internet. you should look it up.
Each minute, internet users log online to check for one thing or another; from watching videos online to downloading apps, music, games or to check for the price of a product and purchase it or to ask questions to quench their thirst for knowledge or curiosity.
The use of the internet can never be over emphasized. It has changed the approach to certain aspects of our dealings in the present world. If I am permitted to say, the internet has the answer to almost everything you can possibly think of.
Some experts say three months on a subject on the internet is equivalent to a university degree.
A lot can happen on the internet over the course of a day, but it’s amazing what happens each minute.
The most innovative and amazing things happen online and in this post, I will be sharing with you some interesting tips of stuff that happens online. Here are just a few things that happen online every minute
When you go to a search engine, you have one thing at the back of your mind, and that is to search for a particular topic, product, service or news.
With the popular search engines range from Google, Bing and Yahoo, searching for information has been made easy with the internet because in a minute, your search result pops out with different pages that a relevant to your search query.

This has replaced those cumbersome books we need to read just to find out one tiny bit of information. At the click of the search button you get a load down of thousands of articles, journals and books relating to your subject search.
Google which is one of the favorites used by most internet users has made search very easy. You type in what you want and in seconds, you get your search results.
In a study by Internet live Stats, Google is shown to translates over 3.5 billion searches per day and 1.2 trillion searches per year worldwide.
This figure might look really ridiculous but in just one minute you can have people from all around the globe logging on to Google to verify certain things and we all can be doing this at once within the space of one minute.
There you go! With about 2,315,000 searches on Google in a minute, you can agree with me that that’s really an amazing thing that happens online.
Uploading videos and pictures
We all love to upload videos and images to share memories with friends and family. For me, most times i log on to either facebook, instagram or Twitter; there is one new picture or video showing me events like weddings, child birth or dedication, engagements, birthdays etc.
There is always somethings either an image or video to give you the latest gist on things that happen online with your friends and other social media users.
You can upload videos and pictures also to share your fun memories with other social media users. Also, this platform is not just for entertainment alone, you can utilize is like most people do by putting up videos and pictures to educate people.

We come across tutorial videos telling us how to achieve certain things or even how to cook a particular meal. If you have noticed, when you log online and you probably want to see the step by step method with the recipe for making probably cake, you can not only get just text alone but also videos.
This is possible because someone has taken out time to create that video and uploads it.
The internet has made it so easy to communicate even without spending your last penny. On YouTube, in just one minute users upload over 400 hour’s worth of new videos and with Facebook users liking more than 4.1 million posts in a minute. The internet is also a market place where people buy and sell their goods and services. Most people prefer to go online to purchase products rather than go to stores. With buying stuffs online, the products will be delivered directly at your door step.

Publishing articles can be very difficult at times but with the internet, you can get your article written and posted within minutes. I will love to use WordPress as an example to illustrate my point. WordPress is a writing tool that helps you like Microsoft word does to write your article and publish it to you target audience.
What this tool does is, it makes sure your write up aligns with the standards of the stipulated rules guiding online posts. It gives you the room to know where you are expected to adjust your text for easy readability, correct spelling errors, also informs you of the necessary things to effect on your post to make it rank tops on search engines.
Therefore, instead of writing and posting without ranking, you can also use WordPress which has over 1,212 post published using this tool every minute.

With this online tool, you have the opportunity to have your article read because it makes sure you have reached a certain level of post composure before you get the vetting and commence to publish. Once you have an idea and you want to share with your followers or community, you have a tool to run to at any given point in time.
Distribute articles are part of the things that happen online
This part really interests me as a content marketer and am sure it would interest bloggers and other people who write content for social medias, websites and blogs. Gone are the days when you feel like communicating your thoughts, you needed a pen and paper and then you eventually take it to the printing press.
